Bluesky tests new ‘Trending Topics’ feature

Social media platform Bluesky has announced a new feature so users can see the list of Trending topics. The company said they are testing the feature currently and it will be available to users on both the desktop and mobile apps for users across.

The trending topics are currently available just in English.

Users can find the new feature by clicking on the search icon which shows up on the bottom of the screen on the app and on the left sidebar on the web. They can also disable the setting via Settings> Content and Media and then uncheck the ‘Enable trending topics’ option.

If users have muted any words or phrases, they will not be available on the Trending topics list.

As is with other features in Beta, the platform will decide if they want to continue it depending on the feedback.

Bluesky has grown at a rapid rate since the U.S. presidential election having touched 25 million users last week.
