NxtQuantum on Tuesday (July 8, 2025) launched a new smartphone brand, Ai+ Smartphone, in India, which is being led by the former Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth who was briefly associated with HonorTech as well. He has now founded this new homegrown company called NxtQuantum Shift Technologies and taken up the role of CEO.
The Ai+ Smartphone has started with two mobile phones: Pulse (4G phone) and Nova (5G smartphone).
It also brings a new OS known as the NxtQuantum OS, which claims to be India’s first sovereign mobile operating system, giving users visibility and control over their data. “Ai+ Smartphone is about putting control back in the hands of Indian users,” said Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies.
“For years, we’ve relied on phones and platforms that were never made with India in mind. Ai+ Smartphone changes that. These phones are fast, beautifully designed, and most importantly, they keep your data safe,” he added.

All personal data, from app preferences to backups, is stored securely in India, using MeitY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India)-empanelled Google Cloud Regions, the company said.
Ai+ Smartphones are manufactured in India by United Telelinks (Bangalore) Limited at their Noida facility. The phones support regional languages, local content, and a customisable experience through NxtQuantum’s Theme Designer Tool. They will be sold on Flipkart.
Ai+ Smartphone Pulse has a 6.7 inch HD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. It runs on Unisoc T615 processor with an expandable memory till 1 TB.
Pulse has a 50 MP camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It comes in Blue, Black, Green, Purple and Pink, starting at ₹4,499. Sale starts July 12.
Ai+ Smartphone Nova 5G comes with a 6.7 inch HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It also uses a Unisoc T8200 chip with Eexpandable memory up till 1 TB.
Nova sports a 50 MP camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. It also comes in Blue, Black, Green, Purple and Pink, starting at ₹7499. It goes on sale from July 13.
