Google Cloud appoints Sashikumar Sreedharan as Managing Director for India

Google Cloud has announced Sashikumar Sreedharan as the new Managing Director for India. Mr. Sreedharan, who joined Google Cloud as the chief operating offer for the Asia Pacific region in September 2023, will succeed Bikram Singh Bedi, who will be taking on a strategic role in the Asia Pacific region. 

Mr. Sreedharan will be focusing on Google Cloud’s go-to-market strategy in India while working with their enterprise and digital native customers and partners. 

Prior to this role, Mr. Sreedharan served as Managing Director of Microsoft India and led their enterprise business. He has also held leadership positions at SAP and IBM among others.

“I am excited to return to the field and to work with our customers to advance their innovation agenda,” Mr. Sreedharan said in a statement. 

Google Cloud has clients across sectors in India, including FSI players like HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, HDFC Ergo and retailers like Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra and healthcare providers including Apollo 24/7, Manipal Hospitals, and Dr. Reddy’s Labs and IT enterprises Tech Mahindra and Wipro.
