Airtel network down across Tamil Nadu

Airtel’s network was down in several areas across Tamil Nadu on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) evening.

Consumers were not able to call each other. However, mobile data services were functioning.

Consumers from Madurai and Coimbatore took to X and posted messages saying that their network was down. Consumers also complained that they could not get through customer service and started posting on X using #Airtel_down.

Airtel’s Public Relations team did not provide details on what exactly happened.
